This will raise the level by 18.3 ppm per day.

As a routine supplement, add 10 ml (2 tsp) per 50 gallons of tank capacity every week. Multiple doses throughout the week are more beneficial – i.e. to add daily, determine the weekly dosing amount and divide by seven.

The recommended magnesium concentration in a marine aquarium is 1,320 mg/L (natural seawater concentration).

If maintaining calcium or buffer levels is a concern, check to see that the salt mix you are using contains natural seawater levels of magnesium.
